I'm an ordinary woman, living life and occasionally wondering what happened to the girl I once was and the dreams I once had. I'm a wife to my husband and mama to my Gorgeous Girlie and the Boy. Living in a far from perfect nest in the north east of England, I work in higher education after many years in social work. I like the idea of being one of those women who have highly successful careers and in their out of work hours excel in everything creative and domestic. In reality, I'm not Martha, Bree or Nigella.
