Long weekend in NYC part two

I always underestimate the impact of shopping in a big city (particularly if there is an element of jetlag involved) on the feet as well as the purse.  I'd planned to do so much and only managed about half.  But here's another glimpse of my long weekend in the city that doesn't sleep.

There were lots of goodies and gadgets in here. And lots of people.

This was glimpsed on the back of a truck in Greenwich Village

We saw a fabulous musical

Then there was the gentle evening stroll along here

And a glimpse of work in progress at Ground Zero

Not forgetting my date with this little guy  (Starbucks:  look and learn!)

And some toppings for my Christmas cupcakes

All in all a great trip.  Now excuse me whilst I go write my Christmas shopping list.

I love the tiny gingerbread man snuggling in the cream! I may have to steal that idea for Christmas Eve.

He tasted good, too!

Thank you so much for popping in to visit me.

I have really enjoyed seeing your trip to NYC. One day ... it's on my list of things to see and do.

Have a great week.

What a great trip - I am definitely feeling Gingerbread Man envy.

I LOVE NYC!!!!!! It's so good to see some of it through your blog. Thankyou.
