On the radio

I've yet to play with some of my Christmas presents, including this Cath Kidston/Roberts radio. On January 1st I resolved to spend more time listening to the radio and less time  watching the gogglebox. It's now January 12th and my present is still in its box and the only  programmes I've listened to so far this year have been on the car radio to and from work.  So, tomorrow I plan to open the box, find a nice spot to plonk my present and then tune in.  (Probably Radio 4 and SMOOTH, just like the car radio.  I outgrew Radio 1 about 6 months ago).  Pity Educating Archie, which I remember listening to as a child, isn't still broadcast.  There's something about a ventriloquist on the radio.
