" A thing of beauty is a joy for ever.
Its loveliness increases".
(John Keats).
I know I've mentioned this before but I have a real passion for handbags. Always have had, even as a little girl when my mum, who also loved bags, would buy me smaller versions of her own. Sadly, I didn't keep any of those early ones but I do remember a little barrel bag with a clock on the top. Sounds horrible but way back then, what a trendsetter! This is a photograph of my latest acquisition, an Yves Saint Laurent "Muse" bag, which I bought a few months ago and have yet to use. (I have a substantial Mulberry bag which I'm using all the time currently. It's the kind you can happily put on the floor in a restaurant or the cinema or chuck into the back of the car. The YSL isn't. I'd have to give it it's own seat). Some of my friends (my family have learned to be VERY understanding) just don't get it. But my bags really are things of beauty. In my eyes, anyway.
