Although we live in a highly urbanised area, we're fortunate in having a park and woodland walkways right on the doorstep. Perfect for the Boo, who likes nothing better than donning his new harness (which makes him look like he's wearing braces and has me thinking I should be making a pair of trousers to complete the Gordon Gekko look) for the short walk on the lead before being unleashed to run to his heart's content.
It's usually just Boo and the mister on the twice daily walks but it eventually stopped raining the other evening and I decided to tag along.
According to a council plaque, the last bit of the walkway marks the eastern boundary of a 12th century priory and its land.
Information which, I'm thinking, doesn't impress Boo one little bit.
